Hey there! My name is Brett, I’m a licensed massage therapist and mindfulness meditation instructor located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I specialize in a form of massage therapy that combines elements of Myofascial Release Technique (MFR) and Deep Tissue into one relaxing traditional Swedish flow. I’m a huge nerd when it comes to understanding pain and as a result, I do my best to uphold an evidence based approach to my treatments. You can expect a massage session unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. It’s gentle, attentive, and holistically minded - emphasizing the fact that you’re resilient and capable of healing.

Beyond the realm of traditional bodywork, I’ve also received certification to teach Mindfulness Meditation from Tibet House US. This is a 2600 year old practice which helps us synchronize our mind and body. Doing so helps those struggling with chronic pain to be less reactive, more compassionate, and increasingly patient with their symptoms. For those not struggling with pain, it’s an incredible practice that helps us find clarity, stability, and a sense of resiliency. I’m also certified to facilitate a clean-language interview, which is a unique mind-body practice that allows the recipient an opportunity to formally conversate with the messages coming from their body.
